Henri Gautreau, 70, of Gautreau Village passed away Wednesday, July 19, 2000 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital following a lengthy illness.
Born in Gautreau Village, he was the son of the late Edgar and Aurélia (Boudreau) Gautreau. Retired, he was employed with Irving Ltd. as a crane operator. He attended Notre Dame de l'Annonciation Roman Catholic Church and was a member of Club D'Age D'Or de Pré-d'en-Haut.
He is survived by his wife, Aline (Landry) Gautreau; one daughter, Nancy (Sylvain Leblanc) Gautreau, Memramcook West; one son, Claude Gautreau, Gautreau Village; two sisters, Jeannette (late Norbert) Poirier, St. Joseph, Mélina (Ludger) LeBlanc, Dover; two brothers. Gérald (Louise) Gautreau, St. Anselme, Allain (Judy) Gautreau, Riverview; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers, Gillie 1989 and Antoine 2000.
Resting at Dupuis Funeral Home Ltd.. Memramcook with the Funeral service to be held at Notre Dame de l'Annonciation Roman Catholic Church, Friday, July 21, 2000 at 7p.m. with Father Ulysse LeBlanc officiating. Interment in Notre Dame de l'Announciation Cemetery.
